We're part of the regional Market & Coastal Towns Initiative in the South West. We want to let you know what we're doing and to invite your views on how Axminster should develop over the next 20 years or so. Please look out for new developments on our News and Events pages.

This web site was created in August 2007 and will evolve to help keep the community up to date and involved. The first priorities were to reach a consensus on a Vision for the future (please click on Vision at the top of this page), and to draw on the community's views and expertise (please click on Your Views at the top).
We've now finalised the Community Strategic Plan after several rounds of public consultations in March and April. To see the Plan, and the accompanying detailed account of our consultations, click on The Plan at the top of the page.
Click on Resources at the top of the page to gain access to a series of profiles of Axminster and area containing a wide range of statistical and other data that we have used in our work.
