We're part of the regional Market & Coastal Towns Initiative in the South West. We want to let you know what we're doing and to invite you to get involved in shaping Axminster's development over the next 20 years or so. Please keep an eye on our News and Events pages.

This web site was created in August 2007 and will evolve to help keep the community up to date and involved. We've now finalised the Community Strategic Plan after several rounds of public consultations. To access the Plan, click on The Plan at the top of this page. From there you will also be able to access other key documents.
Don't forget - the published Community Plan doesn't represent the sum total of our work or documentation. This web site brings together a wealth of documents that we have produced or drawn on - and that the community can draw on over the years. They will be added to and updated from time to time.
